![]() Rating: - Far Superior to the Lindsay Lohan re-do.I can't count the number of times I have watched this movie, that my children have begged to watch it, or the times we have laughed at scenes that we knew were coming up. This is a great movie for the whole family, and does not have all the snot-nosed attitude that the newer version has. Haley Mills is adorable, and does a superb job as both daughters in this version. Rating: - Nice classic family movieClassic family movie --- as long as kids understand children are only smarter than parents in the movies. The underlying themse of 'kids are smart and parents are stupid' and the impact that has had on society is why I gave this movie three stars instead of five. Children need to show respect for parents / adults and movies like this undermines the respect that children should be giving to their elders. None the less, it is an acceptable family movie in times of few choices for the family.
