Editorial Review:

Product Description:
This elegant green pashmina would make a wonderful addition to your collection of scarves, shawls, and wraps. Its versatility allows it to be shaped and worn in various modes. Go from the modern tie around the neck, to the traditional shawl, and anything your imagination can come up. Dimensions are 6' x 2'2" (72 x 26 inches). This makes an excellent gift for women on any occasion. The material is 100% pashmina - not mixed with silk or any other material. Great for evening wear and social events, but still can be worn for a casual look. Soft, genuine, fringes on both ends. Great for both winter and summer.

The Pashmina Story
Pashmina, from the Persian word for wool, is popularly known in the west as cashmere wool, from the old spelling for kashmir. The fine wool comes from the undercoat of Himalayan mountain goat, raised by semi-nomadic herders. A single goat yields 3-8 ounces of fiber per year. The Tibetan plateau provides the ideal environment for pashmina growth. The fiber is exceptionally absorbent, and it dyes very easily and deeply. In recent years, pashmina shawl has been in fashion all over the world for its luxurious rarity, its incomparable softness, warmth and durability.

Care For Your Pashmina
Pashmina gets softer with frequent use. Cleaning pashmina is easy. Although pashminas can be dry-cleaned, the chemicals used, in the long run, affect it (like all fine wool). We thus recommend washing in cold or warm water using mild, natural soap or shampoo. Rinse until water runs clean and then drip dry only, away from direct sunlight. Do not wring or twist. If it needs pressing, iron over a damp cloth.

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Pashmina scarf
Like very much liked this pashmina scarf because it was what I had been looking for: a pretty color of lime green and small enough to be worn as a scarf with coats and jackets. It is not so large that it looks like you are wearing a table cloth. The weave could be a little tighter because the thread will pull accidently a little too easily. Overall, I would buy this lightweight pashmina again.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Exactly as Represented
I purchased several of these pashminas for my daughter's wedding party and one for myself in cream. They are very very soft, but also have a little cripness and sheen. They seem like they will wear well. Some of the reviews (other colors) complain they are very thin, but for a dressy look and for the price they are just right.
