![]() Rating: - great price, great game, great story.First off I would like to say that this game has plenty of modes to play: space, jedi, conquest, story, and galactic conquest, to name a few. I feel that the maker took a daring decision by putting you in the place of a regular trooper rather than a jedi. You do occasionally get to play as a jedi, but I would say that it is a good balance. I get bored easily, but I find that I can keep coming back to this game. I sincerely hope that this review helped you decide. Rating: - Great game!I bought Star Wars Battlefront II for my son who is 7. He never reads the instructions that come with any video games, he learns as he goes. In a couple of days he had this one down. He loves it - and has told me this several times! We limit his time on this game, otherwise he would probably play it all day. The graphics are pretty neat and the game is a lot of fun to play. If our son doesn't behave or do his chores, we do not allow him to play this game for a day or two - and that is really ... Read More Rating: - 5 stars, must-have for SW fansThere aren't a lot of PS2 games I constantly go back to playing, but I can't seem to get enough of this one. All the levels are interesting, the controls are great, and it's easy to give a controller to a friend and teach them how to run and shoot. Ever wanted to drive an AT-AT? Done. Shoot from a Star Destroyer? OK. The only drawback is the space levels - the linear method to win these battles against the CPU without ever destroying another starfighter or capital ship is ... Read More Rating: - Where to start?Star Wars Battlefront 1 became one of my all time favorite video games after the first few times I played it. Naturally, I was stoked for Battlefront 2. Unfortunately, it was a HUGE disappointment. There are so many things LucasArts tried to do with this game that just didn't work out. The HUD on the screen is next to worthless. Everything gets in the way, the mini-map is terribly cluttered, and it only shows the total ammunition you have for each weapon, not the amount of ammo in your ... Read More Rating: - Overall a good gameI would think that this game has a little issues like the areas that you play in are a lot smaller than the origanal star wars universe and there are a few bad gliches like when I was doing a death star flag battle I was Obi-Wan Kenobi and I had the flag and I was going for the droid's base and the control panel got blown up I jumped and I tryed to jump again and he didn't so as a result I started falling and died. But over all its a good game. |
