The first dvd in this series "Matthew" was wonderful. It was a "B" quality film however it was sincere and I've watched it many times. "Acts" was half good and half bad. Read More Rating:  - excellentThis film was very beneficial to our bible study group. An excellent way to do a bible study for all and especially for those who don't have good reading comprehension. It's word for word from the bible so it's a very accurate account. We fully enjoyed it and look forward to seeing the others in the series. Rating:  - Subpar interpretation of JohnThe premise was good I thought - act out the New Testament as told by the Gospel of John. I thought the execution was terrible though. First of all, if you have ever watched the TV show Lost, you have to mentally adjust to have "Desmond" being Jesus. This is a big mental leap. Second, this is practically word for word from the bible. This makes it very predictable and kind of jumpy. I understand that you don't want to put more words in Jesus's mouth, but boy is it dull if you have read John before. ...
