Guerra penned all 12 songs here; thay all deal thematically with God and devotion. Highlights include "Eres," which blends blues sentiment and gospel fever. Crisp piano and powerful horns drive the title track and "Las Avispas," a tune about walking with renewed confidence. Acoustic guitars introduce "Tan Solo he Venido," a mellow song about willing to give it all up for the Lord. As a singer, Guerra in top shape, his vocals conveying the variety of emotions from pain and longing to hope and celebration. As a bandleader Guerra hasn't lost his edge.  Rating: - Good CDThis is only the second or third Spanish music CD that I've purchased. However, I do like it. Rating:  - I LOVE THIS CD!I've been a fan of Juan Luis Guerra ever since I heard him at the Latin Grammys. He is an amazing artist and a humble and gracious human being. Hearing him sing to the glory of our Heavenly Father on his CD, Para Ti, has elevated him to the status of "my personal favorite artist". I can't get enough. Para Ti, and Llave de mi Corazon are the only CD's in my car, and I listen to them daily. What a way to lift your spirits!
