Editorial Review: Product Description: Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords is the next chapter to Knights of the Old Republic saga. It's five years after the first game and the Jedi are being crushed by the Sith. The twisted wrecknamed Darth Sion will bring down the Republic, unless a lone Jedi can reconnect with the Force. You will guide this Jedi and make an important decision: Do you follow the Light or succumb to the Dark? Average Rating:
![]() Rating: - Like the first game, with a few whistlesIf you played and liked Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic, you'll love this game. If you haven't played Knights I, but love Star Wars, LucasArts, or Obsidian Entertainment, you'll love this game. The original Knights, produced by BioWare, is still one of my favorite games ever, and this game is more or less the same. They've fine tuned some of the details, and added a few tweaks. Most notably is the addition of the "Influence" system. The characters aren't as deep (in my opinion) ... However, when rumors started to really fly that a third installment was possibly coming, I decided that I must play through The Sith Lords to be "caught up" in the KOTOR saga. Boy am I glad I did! Where KOTOR was the first of its kind, with the ability to choose your path and play your way, The Sith Lords brings little new to the game besides new story. *SPOILERS* You are the nameless Jedi Exile (cannonically female, incontrast ... Read More Rating: - Wonderful Game!As a preface to this review, let me say that there is a common problem with this game not having sound on Windows Vista, this can usually be fixed by replacing a dll file which can be downloaded here: files.filefront.com/Mss32dll/;6695046;/fileinfo.html I did not know this however, so I played through the the entire game without sound because the game is that good. After I found the solution to the sound problem, the game became even better, which is saying a lot. Be ... KotOR 2 The Sith Lords, Despite being one of the most sad games youll ever play, is extraordinarily great despite being rushed out the door. It says that your character from the previous game went missing and its all depressing because instead of Thinking you lived happily ever after and had little revans with bastila, Your character is Presumed dead. It also took to long and the opportunities to get influence were ... Read More |
