![]() Rating: - One of the best racers on the GBAAs far as racing games go for the GBA, the small library that does exist isn't the best. Thank Nintendo for F-Zero: GP Legend; another installment of the futuristic racing series that is undoubtadly the best of the series to ever grace the GBA. Offering a horde of different racers and racing modes, variety is the name of the game here, as F-Zero offers superb graphics and makes excellent use of the GBA's control scheme (since it makes frequent use of the shoulder buttons, it's actually better to ... Read More Rating: - Pleasantly surprisedI bought this game because I am fasinated by racing games for the GBA. I saw this game a week before I purchased it, and it looked really cool. So I bought it, and I liked it. The game is slightly odd, but that's why I liked it so much. The story mode is good, the time attack is good, ect. The reason why I didn't give this a 5 star rating is because nothing is perfect, and I am sure if I got a perfect version of this game and compared it to this one, I could find some cons. Rating: - As good as its GCN counterpart (and that is saying somethingF-Zero GX for the gamecube blew gamers away with its release, great graphics and truly challenging gameplay. The problem was the GBA release called Max Velocity, as another reviewer has stated was a pale shadow of a racer especially GX. It offered one gameplay mode essentially and was just too hard to control on the little system. Then last year Nintendo dropped F-Zero GP Legend to coincide with the Fox cartoon series. What a difference, excellent variety of gameplay modes with a diffuculty ... Read More Rating: - Jeez! Could this game get any better?!WOW! I couldn't have been more impressed by this one game! The soundtrack is a little annoying (except for the Port Town and Mute City music), but that didn't really matter! There are 34 vehicles in this game that each have their pros and cons. One of the best vehicles in the game is the Blue Falcon, Twinoritta, and the Red Gazelle. The levels were pretty cool, too. Some levels are really annoying, though, like the Illusion level. They have no Electric Bumpers, and the Fire Field level, because of ... Read More Rating: - *insert witty title here*I love this game. You star as eight diffrent people, each with their own storyline. When you meet a person in one story, you meet yourself in the other person's view when playing their story. Each person is racing for their own reasons. But let's get to the gameplay. The story mode can be frustrating at times. Some missions require you to destroy all the other machines and such. If you want to buy this game for a 6-8 year old kid save your money. But overall, great game. |
