Editorial Review:

Product Description:
Jak 3 is the conclusion of the Jak and Daxter saga, filled with friendship, betrayal, death and answers to the questions of the mysterious Precursor legacy. It's been a year since Jak and Daxter saved Haven City from Kor and the attacking Metal Heads, but Haven City is still facing deadly chaos. The people's trust in their hero Jak is at an all-time low, when a sudden attack destroys the palace. Jak's inability to stop this leads to his banishment to the Wasteland. Unknown to Jak, Daxter and their friend Pecker, this is where the real fight for the city will begin. Fantastic enemy AI combines new cloth-movement animations, wall-climbing and smart formations

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - grrrrreat
took a little longer to deliver than i expected, but it got to me in pristine condition. overall a "worth-it" purchase.

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - hoverboard, multiple vehicle makes, and all around adventure
At first I easily got into the flow of the game. I found myself dying less and less because I figured out each mission had certain 'snags' that could be overcome if I learned to look out for them. Like in the car races, I learned to take the lead early, then outpace all the others steadily. And with the weapons, earning secrets made them more powerful. Earning secrets was a fun twist. The game had helpful hints on how to control Jak and the moves are pretty standard --- jump, swing on pole, ... Read More

Rating: 3 out of 5 stars - Kind of fun, but gets repetitive...
I loved the original Jak and Daxter. I was shocked with the complexity of Jak 2. I hated it even.

Jak 3 is better than Jak 2, but it combines some elements of the second in the series with the adventure in the first. The problem is that you are sent running back and forth across this city, over and over, solving the same types of puzzles over and over again. Race over here, pick that up, bring it back before the time runs out. Now, go across the city and meet this other guy. He sends ... Read More

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - a nice ending to a trilogy
When I purchased this game from Amazon, I was stoked to play this game as soon as I had received it. I like how the game involves more scenic variety as opposed to the Jak 2 setting in the dark and ominous Haven City. The storyline is great and I am impressed how Naughty Dog kept the plot interesting by having the player guess who the Precursors are and who Mar is. The gameply is basically the same as the previous games but I still recommend this game to those who love action and adventure.

Rating: 3 out of 5 stars - Good game....but...
I have the same feelings about this game as I had about Jak 2. Great game but the language turned me off. I have young daughters who love Jak and Daxter but I don't like the language. As far as the game goes, it is better than Jak 2.
