 Rating: - Typically Great R.E.M. B-SidesIf you like R.E.M. you've already heard and bought the title track, probably on the special edition of In Time: Best of 1988-2003. So did I. The question for me then was do the B-Sides (an arcane term now I guess) make this single worth buying. The answer is a resounding yes. The first two songs are covers, done in a very enjoyable style reminiscent of great R.E.M. cover B-sides of the past. I have pretty much all of REM's CDs, making new songs a real treat to hear. When Reveal came out, I wasn't so impressed. Because of that minor disappointment, I wondered how I would like the next new material to come out. I'm just here to say I love it! I give REM all my love. |
