Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - A great remake
Honestly I've had the Twin Snakes for over 2 years and beaten it a couple times. I also have and beaten the original one on PSX atleast 5 times. With that said this version is very similar to the original game. The main differences that come to mind are that you can use 1st person view when shooting any gun. That alone makes the game much easier than the original. Another thing is that you have a silent tranquilizer gun like in MGS2. That can be pretty useful at times also. Last the graphics are ... Rating: 1 out of 5 stars - Love the original masterpiece - I just wish I could say the same thing about Twin Snakes.
Let's face it - Twin Snakes blows. Anyone who says it's good is totally lying to themselves or has not played the original MGS1 for PS1.

A majority of the cut-scenes were unnecessary and really stupid. Snake does some super-human moves that just ridiculous - this isn't The Matrix or some Steven Seagal movie.

Rating: 3 out of 5 stars - Good but.
This is a remake and is a mixed bag compared to the masterpiece of the PSX one, sure it looks better and plays a bit better its still clunky in controls the new dialog is..well...so so but what I hate the most is the music....they took a wonderful score and raped and battered it to match modern crap cinma.

Don't get me wrong its a solid game and the gameplay is a improvement but the first game had more charm..

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - not as good as the 1st
because I liked the old music better it is allright I guess I liked it 1st person shooter to a 3rd person is good more to do

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - A Worthy Remake of a Great Classic
Metal Gear Solid: The Twin Snakes is Nintendo's first foray into the MGS series. (Note: The first Metal Gear game was on the NES, though.) Those who have not experienced MGS before should play this game immediately - Metal Gear's brand of stealth action is unmatched in any other series of games. For those who are familiar with the original, the game offers little new content. Mostly, the cinematics have changed a bit, and the controls and enemy AI have been brought up to MGS2 standards. The graphics ... Read More
