All true, of course, and--on rock 'n' ragers like "What Do You Do For Money Honey," "You Shook Me All Night Long," and the title track--all great. As Scott's replacement Brian Johnson reminds us, loud and crunchy, no-holds-barred "rock and roll ain't noise pollution...it makes good, good sense." Never trust anyone who refuses to drink domestic beer, laugh at the Three Stooges, or crank Back in Black. --David Cantwell Average Rating:
![]() Rating: - Bon who??Best album by ACDC I loved Bon Scott but Brian Johnson is a one in a million replacement. Its so rare for lightning to strike twice for a group after a lead singer goes but here it did. 5 stars best of the best!!!!!! Rating: - AC/DC Back In BlackAfter being sad about Bon Scotts death AC/DC set out too find the replacement singer. They soon found what they were looking for, Brian Johnson and than set out work on there biggest album too date 1980's Back In Black. Though its not the same ... Read More Rating: - <<< FEEL >>>So many bands consider AC/DC music as simple three chord blues but this is just not accurate enough. So many bands try to cover these classic songs but they never get it right or hammer it home. The reason of course is what is called "feel". The sound of this album is so atmospheric, you could cut it with a knife. You can feel the sadness, the anger and despair of losing Bon. You can feel the sense of urgency to make what had to be the best product of their career and what you get out of listening ... Released in July of 1980, this album was a classic case of triumph over tragedy. After the death of lead singer Bon Scott (their larger than life frontman) from an accidental drinking binge, the band were faced at quitting. However, it was Bon's own parents who recommended that the band soldier on. Guitarists Angus and Malcolm Young, bass player Cliff Williams and drummer Phil Rudd enlisted Welsh born singer ...
