I own the album version of this gem but no longer have the capability to play it so...to replace it I bought this DSD remastered set and the sound quality is excellent. However, this is not an SACD if that is what you are expecting!! For those who want a quality sound and to hear songs from their beginning up until 1971, this is an excellent choice... If you have no other Stone's album, this is the one. Roy Rating: - awesome set from The StonesHot Rocks 1964-1971 is an awesome two CD Stones compilation set that has so many of their best hits. This also makes a great introduction to the band, too, just as other people have said. The sound quality is excellent and the artwork is really nicely done. The first CD starts with "Time Is On My Side;" this classic Stones tune really rocks well and they deliver this with lots of positive energy!
