Lifehouse, who earned such a distinction with 2001's highly addictive "Hanging by a Moment," shrewdly stick to the emotional guitar-rock palette of that breakthrough single for most of their second album. "I wouldn't change a thing," frontman Jason Wade declares on the searing "Spin," and the band follows through on powerful, life-affirming tracks such as "Wash" and "Take Me Away." Produced by Ron Aniello (Days of the New), mixed by Brendan O'Brien (Pearl Jam, U2), and written primarily between tours, this is the kind of ambitious and endearing album that suggests its makers won't settle for anything less than global domination. --Aidin Vazari Average Rating:

I have purchased both the promo CD of Bliss Dyffs Lucky Day as well as No Name Face and became an addicted outright fan of Lifehouse. That song chokes me up everytime, a lot of times I cry. It's so wonderfully crafted, and sung. The whole cd is pure ear candy to me. I just don't know what else to say, it leaves me speechless! Lifehouse rules!! Rating: - Not "No Name Face", but good anywayI just got this last Jan. 14th, and pretty much listened to it for one week straight. And I said, "Why didn't I discover this album sooner?" I was initially under the impression that "Stanley Climbfall" didn't measure up to its predecessor "No Name Face" because it wasn't as popular. But when I heard the CD, I learned that Lifehouse did retain its edge after all. The first track is "Spin", which I think was the only "Stanley Climbfall" song that was as widely recognizable as ...
