Doesn't do everything that a computer will do, But I highly recommend it for anyone that just wants to exchange email or access the internet. Easy to use. As far as "surfing the internet", you'll be painfully limited. Most sites won't even allow access to MSNTV users. The promised "upgrades" are FEW and far between. I enjoy using the MSN TV and I actually prefer using this instead of our fritzy lap top computer. We originally had the old Web TV Plus Internet receiver and I loved using it but it was zapped by lightening and it burned out the modem and unfortunately they aren't being made anymore so I had to buy this ...
