![]() Rating: - Cures extreme boredom...I've had this game for a couple of years and decided to finally play it one day when I was bored. Although I saw other comments that the game could not run on XP, it ran perfectly fine on my system. The only thing I had to change was my version of Quicktime. Overall, there are some puzzles that can be tantalizing while others are practically common sense. There is really no character interaction at all, making it seem very similar to Mist. My least favorite part about the game is the ending. If you ... Read More Rating: - Not so goodAlthough the game ran pretty fast, the graphics were still horrible, even for a bargain price. I found the plot to be good, but the game itself was not good. It was loaded with glitches and problems that malfunctioned the game. Rating: - good quality for bargin bin priceFirst off, I got this game at the bargin bin price at walmart as it is now sold here. If you have Win98, don't worry about this problem - you won't have it. Now for the game itself - it's very well designed. You get the hang of the interface fairly quickly. For the most part, the puzzles are both creative ... Read More Rating: - A reasonably fun gameThe Crystal Key is a pretty nice game. However, XP USERS BEWARE!!! If you plan to play this game using Win XP, prepare for the hardest puzzle of the game...getting it to run properly (The website for this game said it was "completely compatible" with XP). There are som patches to download to help with many performance issues in the game, but I couldn't get them to install properly either. The website for this game recommended playing the game in "Win 98/Me compatibility mode" to solve the issues that the ... Read More |
