Got an email today, won't be delivered until 11/21/08.....yet it still shows it's available and IN STOCK to order. Don't fall for it! At first, when searching I'd looked towards Sony for their microcassette recorders. Sony is also tiny, well made, and worth the price compared to the Olympus. But I wanted to test the Olympus out. The mic and speaker reproduce decently crisp recordings. For a low-end recorder, this is a great option for the money. Rating:  - Memory HelperI bought this to keep in my car so I wouldn't have to try and write everytime I need to remember something while I'm driving. Unfortunately it's cumbersome and not easy to use if you're driving. It's OK but I wouldn't buy it unless you're looking for something inexpensive and not to be used in the car. It's probably fine for classroom use but for driving you would need something different. |
