Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Great...
yesterday... is an album that takes a few listens to get used to, but grows on you extremely quickly. I am a great fan of the band and i think this is thgeir best realease, deffinately much more experimental and less mainstream than "finally we are no one".

My track reviews are as followed:

I'm 9 today - 9.5/10. a nice feel, with a simple tune that grows to a nice climax, quickly gets you in the mood to hear more and is one of my favourite tracks on the album. Quite electronic. ... Read More

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Listen to it more than once
Boy, the first time I heard this album, I hated it. All I could see in it are the cliches of IDM; the bizarre instrument selections (in all the songs), the part where the notes seem to be picked at random (the end of Asleep on a Train), and songs that are too repetitive for their own good (Random Summer and Slow Bicycle). Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Pure Magic
Unlike another reviewer, I feel like Mum's music might just be life changing.

I heard them for the first time by accident on an excellent radio program called "Spinning on Air" with David Garland on WNYC in New York. Contrary to WNYC's typical weeknight classical music schedule, they will play some groundbreaking and original music on Friday nights. One such friday night last summer, they played and interviewed one of the most wonderful bands I've ever heard, Mum.

I have been fascinated ... Read More

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Electronic Music with Mass Appeal
I'm not normally fan of electronic music, especially of the mellow variety, but I love this album. Why? Three words: It Is Beautiful. Songs like "Smell Memory" and "Awake on a Train" are stunning and evocative. I realize that not everyone will like this, and the hefty price for importing may turn some off, but I encourage all to give it a chance--even if you dislike all other electronic music you hear, there's a good chance you'll still like this.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - beautiful
Beautifully sensual bleeps and scratches. Imagine Aphex Twin in love. Seductively mellow, thought envoking and most relaxing.
