Editorial Review:

Product Description:
The console hit RAYMAN has come to the Game Boy Color. Mr. Dark has captured all of the Toons, and destruction and chaos threaten the world. The only person who can reverse the situation is Rayman. He must travel through 30 levels that span nine different and unique worlds. Luckily, our hero can run, jump, punch, and helicopter his way through each level. There are enemies to defeat and power-ups to be gained the most useful being the Tings, which provide Rayman with clues and extra lives. More ambitious players will want to go through every stage several times, as there are objects that cannot be reached until Rayman has learned certain skills by progressing through the game. Anyone who enjoys RAYMAN on other platforms will certainly appreciate the Game Boy Color version

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Beautifully frustrating
Rayman has traditionally proven high quality graphics and sound, and despite some great limitations on the Game Boy Color system, Rayman still delivers the goods. This has to be one of the prettiest carts out there, and its music actually sounds half decent considering the materials it has to work with. Rayman is also one of the better side-scrolling platforms available for the system, but it doesn't come without a gripe or three. The password save makes it less convenient to pick up and play anytime ... Read More

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - A REALLY fun game
I thought Rayman was sooo fun. It had really cool grafics. Some times it was really hard though. For me Rayman never gets boring. If you dont already have it get rayman!!!!

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Great Game Boy game, great graphics for GB!
I am suprissed that this game doesn't get as much credit that it deserves. The graphics are some of the best I have seen on the Game Boy, and the game is great. If you enjoy Donkey Kong Country, and Super Mario Bros. Deluxe, this will be a great addition to your game boy library. IT is a great platformer that should not be missed.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - A Definite Keeper
I think that "Rayman" was an enjoyable game. The graphics were excellent, and it had great replay value (i.e. the time attack feature). The music was bad for a GameBoy game, but that was countered by the great gameplay. The game went by quickly, but it was fun while it lasted. This game made you go through almost all the levels over again if you really wanted that sweet 100%, but it was definitely worth it. There is also the secret attack mode, which as just as difficult, if not more, that many of ... Read More

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Review from a 12 year old gamer
Rayman was okay. If you like games that are like Super Mario Bros., then this is for you. The graphics are great, but the music could be better. The whole point of the game is to free your friends from your arch-nemisis. But the only way that you can free them all is if you get this key in the first level and trade keys with a friend. Sure I've beaten the game, but not with the key.
