![]() Rating: - Just Can't Get Enough...Folks, I only bought this CD for "Send Me An Angel" by Real Life. That's one of my favorite songs from the 80's. The rest of the CD outside of "99 Luft Balloons" by Nena is passable. Five stars for the Group 'Real Life'!! Three stars for the disc overall. Rating: - Angel Delivered!I bought this CD because it has the original 1983 version of Real Life's "Send Me An Angel" which I couldn't find anywhere else. As for the rest of it, this CD is a decent 80's collection. However, I'd suggest starting off any 80's library with the 5 volumes of "Living In Oblivion" and then building up from there. Rating: - Another Cool Collection from Rhino !Another strong collection in Rhino's New Wave Hits series. Great stuff like Jo Boxers' "Just Got Lucky" and the super cool "Fanactic" by Felony. Add some classic cuts from Squeeze, The Fixx and Big Country and it all adds up to a very worthy collection. Overall, great fun stuff from a time when music was catchy, clever and optimistic. If you grew up in the 80's, chances are you'll dig this CD as well as the others in this great series. |
