 Rating:  - spectacularNever heard Korean Music before, and when I picked this up, it totally floored me. There is a true folk spirit that bursts right out of this record. Rating:  - Acquired taste?I bought this CD because I'd heard Andreas Scholl sing Arirang and it was lovely; I wanted to see if there were similarly enchanting tunes to be found in other Korean music and got this CD because it has Arirang on it. But when I played it, I didn't even recognize the "tune." Or anything that my western ears could recognize as a tune, really. If you already like Korean music, then I have no idea how you'd feel about this example of it. It didn't do anything for me. Rating: - musicI thought this music was saumwhat interesting to what i have listened to. It helps you express yourself. Everyone would love it. |
