Average Rating: out of 5 stars

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Good album, probably not as solid as most Testament albums.
This album saw Testament experiment a little with death metal, and contained some of their heaviest material to date.

While Low, Legions (In Hiding), Hail Mary, Shades of War, PC, Dogs Faced Gods, and Ride are all great headbangers, Urotsukidoji shows some great interplay between Greg Christian and the rest of the band, leading into Chasing Fear which is the most typical old school Testament song on the album, and probably the only time on the album I missed Alex Skolnick (as good as ... Rating: 3 out of 5 stars - Better than the Ritual, but not much.
Yet another Testament release.
Faster and more aggressive than The Ritual but not that much better overall.
The group seemed to be losing (lacking) direction.
Skolnick was gone, and it showed big time.
Fast, furious, but not very satisfying. A couple of good tracks here and there. But overall it was a sign, a very BAD sign of things to come.

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - better late than ever
not to often does a band get better as time goes on,but that`s what you get with low.10 or so years after their prime, testament has given to the world a great gift,to me this is the best testament cd,with props to earlier efforts, the new order and practice what you preach, low surpasses these other classic testament cd`s.crushing guitar, pounding drums, and chuck billy`s growls come together to make metal magic,(black magic)get this, you won`t regret it if you like heavy music

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - the best testament had to offer since the new order,HEAVY!
this was the first cd with unoriginal menbers james murphy and john tempesta?at first thought I was unsure but after listening this is brutally heavy.this made many people reconsider 80 thrash bands the set forth new standards in that realm of music. james has alway chosen to work with the cream of the crop(obituary, death, teastamen ect.)but this was put him in a hard spot replacing alex sckolnick(guitar god)but james stomped on alex's place out.James to thing to a higher level and could do anything ... Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Essential Thrash Metal
I know Testament is a great band , this cd shows why! the entire cd kicks butt. This is one of my favorites from their long spanning career.
Dog Faced Gods is a Killer track and one of the best songs ever in metal.
If you like your Metal fast and hard then this is a "Must Have" for you~!
