I got into them after "Power Windows," and had subsequently bought their entire back catalog on my Reganomics-era minimum wage capital and the freedom of a 10-speed bicycle. They were THE band. Its cryptic, ... Read More Rating: - Very polished but a bit genericA lot of people tend to think of this record as the last of Rush's synth era. While it is true that the use of synthesizers is pretty heavy here, from a stylistic standpoint I think this record ushers in Rush's "pop" era that would also include the following two records, PRESTO and ROLL THE BONES. Rating: - their most under-rated albumThis is a great album. The lyrics are phenomenal (as usual). It is probably their most under-rated. Rating: - "I find no Absolution in my Rational Point of View"Let's just say this Album is far to underated and deserved more then merely becoming a Gold Recored. This may be the most synth-driven collection of songs in Rush's Repitore but it is still very entertaining & complex music.
