Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Can't sing? Listen again!
The 2 people (or is it 1 double posting) on here who say George Michael can't sing are talking nonsense. OK, you're Queen fans and in your eyes and mine nobody can ever replace Freddy, fair enough, but to say George Michael can't sing is like saying Posh Spice CAN!! It's absurd. I am a massive fan of Queen and on the day of the Tribute Concert it became all too apparent that none of the artists performing could hold a candle to Freddy for sheer vocal ability and performance, then right near the end ... Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - GM - The King is the Best!
King George is the Best - When we gotta pick a choice of the best of the best of Pop, it's George Michael vs the rest of the rest. Yeah, pick any single or an album of George Michael, it's the hazy, soft and the tempting, sensuous n seductive voice of George that is irresistible to listen. In this Five Live, Somebody to love - I love this song with the repeats somebody...somebody...and teaming up with live performance of Queen, Freddie Mercury classic Somebody to love is the perfect song ever I like. ... Rating: 2 out of 5 stars - Decent, but not essential
This short E.P. of mostly live performances was mainly an effort to hold fans over in-between albums. Some live performances with Queen were included, including a powerful hit rendition of the Freddie Mercury classic "Somebody To Love" (#30 US) and a lovely cover of Queen's "These are the Days of Our Lives," performed as a duet with Lisa Stansfield. Michael also performs live renditions of Seal's "Killer"(#69 US), which segues into the Rolling Stones' "Papa Was a Rolling Stone," and a stark, stirring ... Read More

Rating: 3 out of 5 stars - Mainly For George Michael Fans On The Whole
Perhaps if I were more of a George Michael fan, this EP would rate higher than three stars. While George does have some wonderful songs, I was never a diehard fan of his work. On this _Five Live_ EP, he teams up with Queen on the fantastic cover of "Somebody To Love," which was taken from the Freddie Mercury tribute concert (along with one other song here), and is hands down the main reason to get this EP, especially if you're a diehard Queen fan like myself. This rendition of the song gives me the goosebumps, ... Read More

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - George Michael....more than just Queen.
This is a fun live cd. This is not just Queen. George's version of Killer/Papa was a Rolling Stone is great. Lisa Stansfield and George's duet is good. If you are a George fan, it's worth the 12 bucks. If you're not...check out the track listings before purchasing.
