Nancy Rating: - Stuck with Getting UnstuckThis cd set from Pema Chodron was a disappointment. It was my first time listening to her, and perhaps my expectations were too high. I will also say that I had just completed listening to a cd lecture series from Richard Rohr titled True Self, False Self, which I considered excellent. Getting Unstuck has honest and useful advice about how to meditate, and how difficult it is to stay focused in this endeavor. She presents a much needed teaching with this seminar recording. Regardless of your personal spiritual beliefs, I believe this will help anyone who wants to stop habitual pattens in their life. Pema is charming, soft-spoken, humorous and non-judgemental. I like her style and I plan on picking up more of her work. |
