![]() Rating: - Excellent photos and illustrationsWhat I like most about this book are the illustrations and photos that not only show what to do, but what not to do. Many of the mothers and babies depicted are not white, thus widening the audience. This book does not cover all breastfeeding topics, so you may want another one that covers your specific needs. Rating: - Very helpful book!!I had a midwife reccomend this book to me 17 years ago. I could not afford to buy the book so I checked it out at the public library. This book gave me the courage to keep going and continue to breastfeed my son even when it was very hard at the beginning. The advice in invaluable and the pictures very helpful. I would re-check this book out after each baby I had. Now that I can afford to buy the book, I have purchased it several times as a shower gift to the 1st time mom's that I know. Read More Rating: - My twins never had a bottleNeed I say more? This book is absolutely the best. I wish you joy on your breastfeeding adventure. It's all absolutely worth it. Get this book! Rating: - I researched them all - this one's THE BESTI felt so overwhelmed when my son was born, that I checked out all the recommended books on breastfeeding provided by the hospital (15 of them). This one was the best: it was clear, it was helpful, and it provided truly useful advice. The pictures & photos with the right & wrong way to do things are awesome. Helped me have confidence! Rating: - There isn't a better breastfeeding book!!!The older edition is the best: illustrations depict what they are talking about to eliminate any confusion and helped me and my baby nurse better (and 3 times longer!) than with my first daughter. I was disappointed to find the new version didn't do as good of a job with the "do" and "don't" pictures... |
