The text is long, but is well mixed with pictures, diagrams, and activities. The text is also very readable. This book is used as a college text for an Introduction to Psychology class. I absolutely loved it. It is an excellent introductory survey of psychology and is written in such a way that it is easy to read, understand, and apply.
