"Books" is not fiction but a look at the author's love of books and collecting books. This may be of more interest to the people with similar interests. The editorial reviews which describe the book as being what the common McMurtry lover (me) expected, must have scanned the first 30 or so pages and written on reputation. This is a bewilderingly awful book, for all the negative reasons mentioned in other reviews. |
