![]() Rating: - Better than expectedI was reluctant to try learning guitar from a book, as opposed to from an instructor. Music does not come easily to me, but this book has been perfect so far. It's clearly written and I'm having a lot of fun with it. Rating: - Great bookAfter about 5 days of practicing chords with the DVD that came with my acoustic guitar, I've been able to start playing actual songs after just one day with this book. It helps that I already know how to read music, but I do think that this book is really helpful. Finally in the third book is more on different scales, barre chords, Travis picking, information on gear, and other information for advanced guitar. All three ... To me, reading music nodes was one of the hardest, painful, and frustrating task. Plus, I didn't have any sense of music, the most important essential for a guitarist and other instruments player as well. I tried a few self-taught books before but failed to catch up and ended up giving up as I went just over a few pages of them; they did not work out as I was a music dummy. However, in the bottom of my ... Read More |
