Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - a very readable and *controlled* mystery by Coben
Harlan Coben is one of my favorite mystery writers. His prose is very readable and easy flowing. Dialog and characterizations are always excellent. 'The Woods' have all these fine qualities. However Coben has a tendency to throw in too many plot twists in the end which often ruin an otherwise excellent read. Rating: 3 out of 5 stars - Not Coben's best....maybe 3 stars
Harlan Coben's series starring Myron Bolitar are must read books. This book, "The Woods," is not worth your time. No, it's not a terrible read, but it is far from Coben's best.

In this mystery/thriller, Paul Copeland is a big time district attorney who is still grieving about a camp that he helped out with while in high school. His sister and a few others were brutally killed at the camp....or were they?

Skip ahead twenty years. Copeland is a widowder with a young daughter. ... Read More

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - It Kept Me On the Edge of My Seat...
Really great read. I couldn't put the book down. It only took me a few hours to read. It was thoroughly enjoyable! I highly recommend this for a light read.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Quite a Ride (Read)
The central character is Paul Copeland, a county prosecutor in New Jersey. While in the midst of arguing the prosecution's case at the trial of two wealthy college fraternity brothers accused of rape, he is questioned about the murder of a man in New York City. This man's death appeared to be connected to an incident that happened twenty years earlier at a summer camp attended by the then-teenaged Copeland. It was believed that four youths were murdered one night, deep in the woods, although only two ... Read More
