Product Description:
Mairi is the daughter of John Macdonald, first lord of the Isles, and she is as clever as she is beautiful. Trusted by her father in ways that most women would never dream of, Mairi meets her match when Lachlan "the Wily" Maclean joins her father's court. Lachlan is a skilled negotiator and resourceful tactician, and he and Mairi form a secret, passionate bond. However, her father has plans for a royal marriage for her, and his Master of the Household. Niall Mackinnon, has violent plans of his own. With murder, kidnapping, and revenge lurking in their future, Mairi and Lachlan must match their wits-and their hearts - to overcome the thorny obstacles to their love.
