Their steamy and always original and knowing the history of a few of this books main characters from her previous stories was a nice twist. The sex was steamy, the concepts of time fascinating, and Jessica's "mutations" a pleasant twist. There are a large amount of questions still unanswered by the end of the story, but I think that is kinda the best part. The problem with most series is that after the first one, there is so little incentive to read the next. This one leaves me intrigued and eager to pick up Enforcer as soon as it is released. |
