 Rating:  - Not her best work I was disappointed in this book. Brenda Jackson is one of my favorite authors, but this was not her best work. It had the feel of an amateur and not her usual polished style. I have not read the other two in the series, but if they are like this one, I think I will pass. I know that she often writes "connecting" books where characters reappear, however, I'd like her romantic characters to have more depth. I gave this book three stars bcz I CANNOT believe that Mrs. Jackson's team (herself, proofreaders, editors) would let this go to print with the word "desserts" misspelled on the cover title as well ... Read More Rating: - Wonderful indeedI have absolutely nothing but positive reviews for anything written by Brenda Jackson. She is a dynamic author that just keeps getting better with time. I would probably purchase the alphabet if she were to rewrite it, that is how much I love her writing skills. |
