 Rating:  - night world booksI fell in love with the nightworld books a long time ago, and bought each one when it came out and reread them over and over again. When I got the internet I looked for strange fate with no luck, now supposedly there is. I reordered used copies of two books because I lost them. The latest news on Strange Fate is that Smith has almost finished it, and is planning to release it to publishers soon. She is also looking at editing the rest of the books in the series. No definite dates set, but let's stay hopeful! Rating: - Wonderful as usualThis latest story set in the Night World is L.J. Smith at her best. Galen, the hero isn't the usual tough guy. He's kind and sweet without ever being wimpy. Keller and Iliana are amazing characters as well, even if Iliana does start a little ditzy. You (or at least I) can't help but care about the characters and hope that somehow everything works out at the end. The back of the book is slightly misleading - Galen is NOT destined to be the Iliana's soulmate - he's destined to be her husband. ... I just didn't think the romance was very well developed in this book but as usual the way Lisa Jane Smith writes draws me into the magical world she has created. I am desperate to read another book by her, having read every book she's written except Heart of Valor and that only was because I can't get my hands on it.
