I am glad to report that they were included and in the pristine condition I was promised. This book was recommended by my teacher and has been a great help to me so far. The access code is sold separately for $40. Rating: - A bit too simplisticI took a course in medical terminology as part of an online degree program, and the course utilized this textbook which, after a chapter or two, bored me to tears. The information is good if medical terminology is something you're unfamiliar with. However, I work as a medical transcriptionist and am quite familiar with many medical terms. You start off learning things like prefixes, root words, suffixes etc. Then they start putting words together. It will help you understand medical terms when you break them down. The flash cards also help. |
