![]() Rating: - If you really need the companion...While the textbook comes with the interactive compact disc companion (which is nice I will say), I find the hands on quick reference so much easier to navigate. This is particularly helpful for those of us with computer issues such as speed and the like. Worth the purchase. It is cute too, like a mini version of your text! hee hee :) Rating: - The Clinical CompanionThis is a really nice little reference book...I keep it with me at work for quick reference. Very helpful, since Nurses have to keep so much information at hand when assessing our patients. Inexpensive, and valuable. Rating: - companion I found the Lewis companion guide irreplaceable while studying for an exam or during clinical. Plus small enough to carry in your backpack. Best book I purchased since I've been in nursing school. Rating: - cliff's notes for the textbookExcellent for when you need the information and don't want to read an entire chapter to find it out. I call it the Cliff's note's version of the textbook. All major diagnosises are included, their etiologies, assessments, diagnostics, and treatments. Useful in clinical. Rating: - Good things in small packages. This book is amazing! As a student nurse, we are required to have our Medsurg book at the clinical site. Those of you that have seen the book can agree that you can seriously hurt someone with that book; I mean it is huge! This companion has been a life-saver in every way. It is compact, has all the pertinent information, and is easy to read. I truly recommend it to all nursing students. Good Luck! |
