Morelli can’t afford a lot on a cop’s salary, and Mooner will work for potatoes. The Cupcake: Stephanie Plum Stephanie and Morelli have a long-standing relationship that involves sex, affection, and driving each other nuts. She’s a bond enforcement agent with more luck than talent, and she’s involved in this bank-robbery-gone-bad disaster from day one. The Crisis: A favor for Ranger Security expert Carlos Manoso, street name Ranger, has a job for Stephanie that will involve night work. Morelli has his own ideas regarding Stephanie’s evening activities. The Conclusion: Only the fearless should read Fourteen. Thrills, chills, and incontinence may result. Average Rating:
![]() Rating: - fourteen could have been skippedI loved the books in the beginning better then the later ones. When I read 13 I thought to myself "How I have missed these characters" I still enjoy the characters but was a little tired of the reality game going on in this book. Not the best in the series but if you've read this far into it , you know you will continue. Rating: - Really Funny Book!I don't know what the fuss is about this book not being as good as Janet's others. I thought this book was funny, interesting, fast-paced and very, very entertaining. A must read for Janet Evanovich fans! Rating: - Fearless FourteenFunny, funny, funny. Super summer reading. You will enjoy this fast read. Lula is at her best, but so is Stephanie. This book is a good follow up to the last book. There are no surprises but lots of laughing out loud. No, the sexual tension wasn't there in the same way, but other parts of the story more than filled in for a storyline that hasn't gone anywhere for the last several books. I admit to being a total Ranger fan, but I didn't feel that he was missing in this book, as some have alluded to, rather he was more of a friend. Stephanie gave him some food ...
