 Rating:  - Sweet, funny, informativeThe author *loves* fishing. The book is as much a love song as a textbook, and I enjoyed it all the more for that. Great insights, side-splitting passages (like the description of the avid angler's "Heightened Awareness" at the tackle shop), and solid information. I haven't had this much fun reading *anything* in quite a while. Rating: - a Must HaveI liked this book, it was a good read. It was fairly short (for a book) and to the point. Get a different book to tell you what all the different lure types are, how to tie knots, and what equipment to buy, then read this book to find out how to go about using all that stuff and maybe even why you'd want to. It was fairly introductory, and there was probably a lot that a seasoned fisherman would already know, but I found it enjoyable.
