![]() Rating: - My 3 Year Old Loves It!This is a simple, charming, feel-good book. I took it out of the library so many times that I had to go out and buy a copy. My 3 year old daughter loves this book. She loves to listen to it, but she has also memorized the story, so she will "read" it to me over and over. This is the only book that she has ever done that with. This book will always hold a very dear place in my heart for those memories. It is perfect for a child in the 2-4 age range, in my opinion. ... Rating: - Lovely pictures, colors, VERY simple text, good for kids under 2perhaps designed for readers/listeners even younger than my 2.5 year old. Love the graphics, but the text is too simple to hold any attention, and the story itself is so very short. Would have loved a bit more length... we are fans of Henkes Kitten book though! Rating: - Lovely BookIt's a lovely book with an important message. It's terrific for an older sibbling to read to a younger one. The pictures compliment the book beautifully. We love Kevin Henkes in our house. Both my children have grown up with "Lily" and all her friends. My daughter yearns for another in the Lily series. All of Kevin Henkes books are enchanting. This is for the younger set, but it's a nice read for slightly older children as a reminder of just how important the simple ... Read More |
