 Rating:  - A VERY GOOD romance novel This book pulled me out of a slump. Theresa Weir has a "style" to her writing that is hard to compare with any other author. I miss her romances but her suspenses under Anne Frasier are very good and she seems to thrive and do very well in that genre. This book was a quick read. The h/h had plenty of sexual chemistry/tension between them and the story/plot took unexpected twists and turns. It was really good. It was funny (as usually seen with this author) and unpredictable. You can't go wrong with voodoo dolls, handcuffs and a sauna. It was really good- but it wasn't amazing (thats why I didn't give it a full 5). It lacked something- I'm not really sure what it was but it still lacked it. Don't get me wrong, it was a really good book but it's not my favorite book from this author. This is a funny and charming story with gentle leads and realistic personalities. There is no high suspense or other contrived means to lengthen the book. An Idaho winter, mittens, a sauna, a voodoo doll, chess... and handcuffs. When Claire wished for excitement, she didn't mean for her wish to be taken so literally. Before she knows it, she is kidnapped by a mysterious stranger. Is he a criminal? Or is he, like Claire, simply another damaged person? I've got to mention Claire's wardrobe.
